Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in related field with 1 year of relevant public lands experience.

• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Acquire land and interests through negotiations with owners or government entities or via condemnation.
• Calculate fair market value to determine basis for negotiations or contracts.
• Prepare escrow closing documents and transfer funds to close transactions.
• Ensure recordation of executed legal documents.
• Review proposals and plans for roads, structures, or utilities on State land; inspect for compliance.
• Draft legislation and regulations related to State lands; respond to inquiries from stakeholders.
