Job summary

Accenture is seeking a State Government Transformation Lead in the US to drive large-scale, technology-enabled reforms across finance, HR, payroll, and procurement. You will own senior client relationships, guide cross-functional design, and ensure successful delivery from strategy through realization.

You will lead Cloud ERP engagements for state and county clients, account for multi-jurisdiction compliance, and oversee change management in civil service environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of consulting or functional experience in state or county government environments.
• Senior-level functional expertise in at least one domain: state finance and budget operations, HR/workforce transformation, payroll administration, or procurement.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on Cloud ERP delivery in a functional capacity.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalents considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cloud ERP engagements for state and county government, with accountability for quality, relationships, and outcomes.
• Own senior client relationships in your domain, engaging as a peer who understands what they manage.
• Drive functional design decisions for budgeting, civil service workforce structures, payroll compliance, and procurement regulations.
• Lead change management strategy within your domain, accounting for civil service culture and union considerations.
• Own integration strategy within your tower, connecting to statewide financial systems and regulatory environments.
• Lead data migration strategy addressing payroll history, position control records, and sensitivities in government data.
• Bring AI-assisted delivery and platform-native AI capabilities into engagements as standard practice.
