Job summary

All-On-the-Field (AOTF) in North Carolina seeks a State Field Director to lead a paid canvass program of 20+ canvassers, ensuring door-count and data quality targets are met on tight timelines. The role blends hands-on team management with strict operational discipline in a live field environment.

You will recruit, train, and supervise canvassers and leads, set schedules, track performance, and coordinate with the operations team.

Qualifications

• 2+ cycles of field experience.
• Experience managing a field team; experience managing managers preferred.
• Track record of meeting metric-driven goals on deadline.
• Proficient with VAN/Votebuilder and standard field tools.
• Composed and decisive under the pressure of a live program.
• Willing to relocate; valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of a paid canvass program of 20+ canvassers.
• Hire, train, and manage canvassers and team leads.
• Build and own the program's staffing plan: set canvasser schedules, determine coverage, and verify canvasser hours daily.
• Enforce data quality and field integrity standards, including spot-checks and fraud prevention.
• Set and hold daily and weekly production goals; track performance and course-correct.
• Work alongside our operations team to manage recruitment and supply logistics.
• Report program numbers to AOTF leadership on a daily cadence.
• Other duties as the program requires.
