Job summary

The Hunt Institute seeks a Program Coordinator for State Engagement (PC-SE) to support its growing state-based work. The PC-SE will support program development, coordination, and implementation of the State Legislators Retreat model and the Hunt State Policy Fellows across states.

Qualifications

• Commitment to The Hunt Institute's bipartisan mission and mission advancement for教育 equity.
• Experience working with elected officials, campaigns, PACs or legislative committees is a plus.
• Awareness of the education continuum (early learning to higher ed) and demonstrated program management experience.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building with internal/external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel 15–20%.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and execution of major Institute policymaker convenings nationwide.
• Provide content support, track key dates, and manage meeting notes.
• Develop and regularly update program management documents.
• Coordinate with external partners, policymakers, and stakeholders for event participation.
• Create materials (grant reports, briefs, slides, web content) to support strategic plans.
• Support meetings with external partners and policymakers as directed.
• Provide summaries/analysis of major education issues across states.
• Monitor issues in partner states to deliver relevant content to legislators.
