Job summary

Apploi is seeking a caregiving professional to provide direct care and medication administration for residents in a facility setting. The role requires CPR and First Aid, and completion of Ohio Med Tech training programs, with preference for experience with the elderly.

You will work as part of a team, ensuring accuracy in medication handling, documentation, and adherence to resident care plans while maintaining confidentiality and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience with elderly preferred.
• CPR and First Aid required.
• Must complete Ohio Med Tech training programs.
• Ability to read simple instructions and write basic correspondence.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to varying schedules.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document resident medications following accepted practices.
• Prepare rooms for new admissions and greet new residents.
• Escort new residents to their rooms as needed.
• Assist in orientation for new residents and families.
• Communicate with physicians and pharmacies regarding resident care.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and respect rights.
• Monitor vital signs and assist with basic nursing tasks.
• Support in daily activities and care planning per RASP.
