Job summary

Qualifications

• Undergraduate path in public affairs or related field with strong writing and organizational skills.
• Interest or knowledge in public affairs, government relations, regulatory affairs, or community engagement.
• Intermediate MS Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word; ability to organize information and prepare materials.
• Experience with research, writing, data organization, event support, or presentation development preferred.
• Willing to travel within the service territory to attend events.
• Rising junior or senior; authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Supports State Affairs projects and initiatives including stakeholder engagement and regulatory tracking.
• Maintains stakeholder information and tracks engagement with partners and contacts.
• Prepares briefing materials, summaries, talking points, meeting notes, and updates.
• Assists with meetings, events, and outreach activities, including logistics and follow-up.
• Researches topics to identify issues and engagement opportunities.
• Completes a capstone project with research, analysis, and recommendations.
