Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Santa Monica, CA, is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to work with startup customers, guiding them on deep learning, generative AI, and cloud architectures. You’ll influence product direction while building trusted advisory relationships and sharing knowledge across the team.

You will also contribute to technical content and participate in events, while growing your own expertise in AWS services and reference architectures.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology domain experience including software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking or data & analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with startup customers to accelerate projects and recommend best-practice architectures aligned to long-term business outcomes.
• Build technical relationships and act as trusted advisor, guiding customer interests.
• Share customer voice to inform AWS feature roadmaps and product direction.
• Create and share best practices, technical content and new reference architectures (white papers, code samples, blogs).
• Educate customers about AWS technologies through workshops, user groups, meetups and public speaking.
• Mentor team members, interview candidates, and contribute to hiring decisions within Solutions Architecture.
• Develop deep expertise in technical domains relevant to customer outcomes and design impactful PoCs.
