Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) startup solutions architecture team is hiring a customer-focused Solutions Architect who will work directly with early-stage startups to scale their architectures. You’ll help customers make pragmatic technical decisions and build enduring relationships.

You’ll evangelize AWS services, contribute to best practices, mentor colleagues, and shape product roadmaps by voicing customer needs. The role blends hands-on design with thought leadership and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in tech domains (e.g., software, cloud, infra, security, data & analytics).
• 3+ years in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years in IT development or consult/implementation in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with strategic startup customers to accelerate projects and recommend best-practice architectures.
• Build technical relationships and act as trusted advisor to customers.
• Share the voice of the customer to inform the AWS features roadmap.
• Create and share best practices, technical content and reference architectures.
• Educate about AWS technology through workshops, meetups, public speaking, videos or conferences.
• Mentor team members and help interview candidates for Solutions Architecture.
• Develop areas of depth in technical domains relevant to customer outcomes.
• Design and implement POCs and reference architectures to showcase value of AWS services.
