Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solutions Architect in California is seeking a seasoned professional to design, deploy, and optimize scalable cloud solutions on AWS. You will collaborate with sales to accelerate adoption, build relationships with senior technical stakeholders, and contribute to customer-facing whitepapers and proof of concepts.

You will also craft strategic roadmaps for generative AI solutions, leveraging Bedrock and SageMaker, while sharing best practices within the AWS architect

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in cloud architectures.
• 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in deep architectural and design discussions to create world-class solutions built on AWS while ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.
• Author and contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and proof of concepts.
• In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS.
• Design and implement generative AI architectures that orchestrate complex workflows across enterprise systems, leveraging AWS services like Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and Amazon Q
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
• Develop strategic technical roadmaps and implementation plans for generative AI solutions that align with customers’ business objectives and existing architecture
• Travel is expected to be 20%.
