Job summary

Brex is seeking a Relationship Manager for the Startups team in a hybrid role based in San Francisco or New York City. You will manage a portfolio of startup clients, ensuring satisfaction and strategic growth, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored Brex solutions.

You will build strong relationships with founders, CFOs, and executives, leveraging your communication and data-analysis skills to drive results and expand product usage.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in relationship management, account management, sales, partnerships, or similar roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 200 startup clients, serving as the primary contact for founders and execs.
• Maintain deep awareness of each client’s financial health and growth trajectory to identify opportunities.
• Ensure Salesforce hygiene and proficiency with listed tools to support client success.
• Drive net revenue retention through expansion of Brex products and services.
• Lead deposit acquisition and strategic positioning of Brex banking solutions.
• Execute competitive defense strategies to protect your book of business.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver optimal solutions for clients.
• Prioritize field engagement with in-person meetings and touchpoints.
• Host monthly client events such as dinners or experiential gatherings.
