Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC seeks an experienced Production Control & Materials Assistant Manager to lead production planning, material management, and inventory control during a new manufacturing facility launch. You will coordinate with production, purchasing, warehouse, and operations to align schedules with demand and capacity.

The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing expertise, ERP/MRP proficiency (SAP/MES preferred), strong Excel and data analysis skills, and prior start-up or new

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Operations, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in production control, material planning, or manufacturing operations.
• Supervisory or assistant management experience in manufacturing.
• Strong scheduling, MRP, inventory control, and workflows.
• ERP/MRP systems experience; SAP and MES preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, reporting, and data analysis.
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities across departments.
• Leadership, organization, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with manufacturing start-ups or launches is desirable.
• Ability to work across first and second shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and execution of daily and weekly production schedules based on demand, material availability, and capacity.
• Monitor performance against schedules and coordinate adjustments to minimize disruptions.
• Collaborate with leadership to set priorities, resolve conflicts, and maintain efficiency.
• Develop and implement production planning procedures and performance metrics.
