Job summary

Brex is seeking a Startups Ambassador in San Francisco to lead engagement with venture networks, founders, and strategic partners. You will host events, drive engagement, and build meaningful connections that add value to the startup ecosystem.

Your main focus is growing Brex’s presence among top VC networks, acquiring startups, expanding market share, developing new channel relationships, and delivering high-quality founder experiences. This role is hybrid in a bustling SF office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in venture capital and/or startups.
• Established network within the startup ecosystem.
• Proven experience working with VCs and founders.
• Sales quota experience preferred.
• Experience building communities both virtually and in-person.
• Self-starter with strong leadership, curiosity, collaborative mindset, high EQ.

Responsibilities

• Sales: Drive top-of-funnel customer acquisition for startups through direct sales, partnerships, and events.
• Networking: Expand your existing network of founders and VCs.
• Community Building: Launch initiatives to bring founders and VCs together.
• Marketing: Be the face of Brex for Startups in the market.
• Value Add: Leverage your network to help founders access capital and talent.
• Operations: Work with cross-functional teams to be successful internally and externally.
• Systems: Maintain data hygiene in Salesforce, HEX, Retool, Looker, Scratchpad, Botdog, Rings, Harmonic.
• AI: Use AI to increase efficiency and assist founders with content creation.
