Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper in Spartanburg is seeking an Operations & Start-Up Manager to drive safe, efficient production while leading start-up, ramp-up, and handover of new equipment. You will lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, R&D, Maintenance, Quality, Planning, and Warehousing to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of leadership in manufacturing, with experience in Lean, Kaizen, TPM, 5S, and Poka-Yoke; relocation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; technical degrees strongly preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, start-up/ramp-up and new equipment experience valued.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate complex projects in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong understanding of production ops, equipment readiness, process capability, standardized work and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations, provide tactical direction to meet schedule, service, quality, and performance targets.
• Develop and execute CQV and ramp-up strategies with KPIs, milestones, and risk management.
• Guide ramp-up activities from installation to stable production and handover to Operations.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings to monitor performance, resolve issues, and remove roadblocks.
• Establish visual management and tracking tools to show progress and training status.
• Ensure CQV gating, approvals, and required documentation are maintained.
• Support development of operating, setup, cleaning, maintenance, food safety, and quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement via Lean, Kaizen, TPM, 5S, and Poka-Yoke methodologies.
• Optimize staffing with a flexible, cross-trained workforce and strong training programs.
• Build and coach high-performing teams; foster engagement, accountability, and morale.
