Job summary

Amazon's AWS Startups team seeks a technical builder to work with early-stage startups, helping them architect scalable cloud solutions and guiding pragmatic technical decisions.

In this on-site San Francisco role, you’ll collaborate with customers to adopt AWS services, build enduring relationships, and contribute to product/content strategy while staying hands-on with a broad set of cloud technologies and startup ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Experience with one of the following programming languages: Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++.
• Experience with two or more of the following: networking fundamentals, security, storage or databases (relational or NoSQL), operating systems (Unix, Linux, or Windows).
• Experience implementing a cloud-based technology solution.
• Experience in Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Engineering or DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Help a diverse range of startups to adopt the right architecture at each part of their lifecycle
• Support startups in architecting scalable, reliable and secure solutions
• Support adoption of a broad range of AWS services to deliver business value and accelerate growth
• Support the evolution and roadmap of the AWS platform and services, connecting our engineering teams with our customers for feedback
• Establish and build technical relationships within the startup ecosystem, including accelerators, incubators and VCs
• Develop startup specific technical content, such as blog posts, sample code and solutions, to assist customers solve technical problems and reduce time-to-market
