Job summary

BAC is seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Process Project Leader in Maryland to establish and implement assembly processes for a new BAC facility. You will lead plant flow, SWIP, GAS compliance, scheduling, and MRP practices while building capabilities and workforce readiness for safe, efficient operations.

The role collaborates with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, EHS, HR, and site leadership to deliver operational readiness and standards aligned with BAC.

Qualifications

• Degree in manufacturing/industrial engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in manufacturing engineering, assembly operations, industrial engineering, production planning, or manufacturing leadership.
• Experience launching greenfield plants or major expansions.
• Knowledge of plant flow, SWIP, MRP and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead assembly process readiness from design through production launch, ramp-up, and stabilization.
• Develop end-to-end plant flow, material movement, work sequencing, labor plans, and assembly methods.
• Establish SWIP requirements and controls to support production flow.
• Implement GAS compliance and ensure documentation, training, and controls meet standards.
• Create SOPs, work instructions, and certification materials; ensure site readiness.
