Job summary

Anthropic is hiring an Applied AI Architect on the Startups team to serve as a trusted technical partner for founders and engineers. You will help startups architect LLM solutions, run evaluations, and maximize Claude's value while collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.

You will translate startup needs into robust architectures, guide technical decisions, and contribute to successful deployments. Travel to customer sites and events is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect or Sales Engineer.
• Experience working with startups or high-growth technology companies.
• Strong builder credibility as a software engineer or founder.
• Deep technical proficiency building and scaling AI products.
• Hands-on experience deploying LLM-powered applications in production.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to understand startup requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Win technical evaluations and help startups develop evaluation frameworks.
• Build credibility with founders and startup engineers through architectural guidance.
• Gather insights on Claude usage and feedback for product teams.
• Travel to customer sites and startup events for workshops and deep dives.
