Job summary

JEVS Human Services is seeking a START Specialist to provide community-based assessment, crisis prevention, planning, and therapeutic coordination. You will stabilize individuals in crisis and strengthen natural support systems through trauma-informed, person-centered approaches within an integrated service model.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in social work, counseling, psychology, or related Human Services field.
• Must become a certified START Coordinator within 12 months (training provided).
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and collaborative communication style.
• Valid PA driver’s license and ability to travel within the community.
• Must pass all required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Coordination & Support: Manage a caseload of 20-30 individuals with dual diagnoses and develop CSCPIPs.
• Systems Integration & Community Collaboration: Serve as a clinical liaison across systems and coordinate integrated care planning.
• Crisis Response & On-Call Support: Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation with rapid crisis response.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation in SIRS and EMR systems; track outcomes.
• Professional Growth & Training: Engage in trainings and obtain START Coordinator certification and related certifications.
