Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC in North Carolina is hiring a START Coordinator to support individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges. This full-time position covers Craven and Onslow counties and surrounding areas, and involves delivering community-based intervention and prevention services as part of an integrated care team.

You will develop crisis plans, coordinate services, train families, and provide system-wide consultation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Social Services, Human Services or Special Education required; Master’s degree a plus.
• Minimum 2 years experience with persons with developmental disabilities or mental health challenges; 1 year if paired with Master’s degree.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise cross-system crisis plans in a timely fashion.
• Monitor implementation of the crisis plan and perform case management to link services and referrals.
• Provide families and stakeholders with training on knowledge and skills required by the population served.
• Offer consultation on clinical needs of individuals’ care and coordinate with the system.
