Job summary

HomeWell Care Services seeks compassionate caregivers for in-home positions in Seminole, Gulfport, Pinellas Park and Largo. You will work one-on-one with clients delivering non-medical support, companionship and daily living assistance in their own homes.

Starting at 17.00 USD per hour with higher rates for shorter shifts. Benefits include weekly payroll, daily pay, CEUs, 401K, and paid orientation. Must have 18+, CPR, license and Florida background check. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Preferred CNA or HHA license or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time caregiving for geriatric or chronically ill individuals.
• Must be physically able to perform duties including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must have an active CPR Certification or be willing to get certified.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with valid insurance.
• Excellent communication skills; mature, caring, punctual and reliable.
• Must have an active State of Florida Level 2 Background Check or pass one.

Responsibilities

• Perform activities of daily living and provide companionship for clients in their homes.
• Assist with personal hygiene including bathing, grooming and dressing.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Light housekeeping.
• Provide ambulation and transferring assistance.
• Assist with medications as required.
• Transport clients to appointments and run errands.

Skills

CNA or HHA license

You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.
