Job summary

HomeWell Care Services in Saint Petersburg, FL, seeks compassionate caregivers to join our in-home care team. You will work one-on-one with seniors in their homes, providing non-medical support and companionship to help them age in place with dignity.

Starting at $17.00 per hour based on client care experience and certification, with higher rates for short shifts. Benefits include weekly payroll, daily pay options, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Preferred CNA or HHA license or 6 months of full-time care or 12 months of part-time geriatric care.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Active CPR certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with insurance.
• Excellent communication skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and daily living support in clients' homes.
• Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Meal planning and preparation; light housekeeping.
• Provide ambulation and transferring assistance as needed.
• Assist with medication administration as required; transport to appointments.

All shifts for Caregiver/CNA/HHA positions available. Cases available in Pinellas and Pasco County.

We are looking for compassionate Caregivers to be a part of our team and join us in our mission of enhancing seniors’ lives, one day at a time. You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.

Responsibilities and Duties

With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but not limited to:

• Perform activities of daily living and provide companionship for our clients in their homes
• Personal hygiene including but not limited to bathing, grooming and dressing
• Meal planning and preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Provide ambulation and transferring assistance as needed
• Help with medication as required
• Transportation for appointments and errands

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Preferred CNA or HHA license or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons.
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including lifting and transferring up to 50 pounds
• Must have an active CPR Certification or be willing to get certified
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with valid insurance
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable
• Must have an active State of Florida Level 2 Background Check or pass one
