Job summary

HomeWell Care Services is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join our team in Palm Harbor, Clearwater, Dunedin, Oldsmar and surrounding areas. You will provide non-medical in-home services one-on-one with seniors, helping them age in place with dignity and respect.

Starting at $17.00 per hour based on client care experience and certification, with higher rates for shorter shifts. Benefits include weekly payroll, daily pay option, and insurance options.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Preferred CNA or HHA license or caregiving experience.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have CPR certification or be willing to get certified.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with insurance.
• Excellent communication skills and reliability.
• State of Florida Level 2 Background Check or ability to pass.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and provide companionship.
• Personal hygiene duties including bathing, grooming and dressing.
• Meal planning and preparation; light housekeeping.
• Ambulation and transferring assistance as needed.
• Help with medications as required.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands.

All shifts for Caregiver/CNA/HHA positions available. Cases available in Pinellas and Pasco County.

We are looking for compassionate Caregivers to be a part of our team and join us in our mission of enhancing seniors’ lives, one day at a time. You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.

• Starting at $17.00 per hour based on client care experience and certification

Responsibilities and Duties

With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but not limited to:

• Perform activities of daily living and provide companionship for our clients in their homes
• Personal hygiene including but not limited to bathing, grooming and dressing
• Meal planning and preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Provide ambulation and transferring assistance as needed
• Help with medication as required
• Transportation for appointments and errands

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Preferred CNA or HHA license or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons.
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including lifting and transferring up to 50 pounds
• Must have an active CPR Certification or be willing to get certified
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with valid insurance
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable
• Must have an active State of Florida Level 2 Background Check or pass one
