Job summary

A local home care service in Schaumburg is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join their team. In this role, you will provide one-on-one support to seniors in their homes, offering companionship and assistance with daily activities. Candidates should have or be willing to obtain a CNA or HHA license, along with exceptional communication skills and reliable transportation. This position offers competitive pay and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Preferred CNA or HHA license; at least 6 months of caregiving experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance if transporting clients.
• Proof of current TB testing is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support to seniors.

• Help with bathing, grooming, and toileting.

We are looking for compassionate Caregivers to be part of our team and join us in our mission of enhancing seniors’ lives, one day at a time. You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Companionship

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA license preferred (but not required) or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for seniors, geriatric, or chronically ill persons
• Exceptional communication skills
• Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Proof of current TB testing
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
• Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)
