Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Structures Test Engineer for the Starship program at Starbase, TX. You will join the Structural Test team to plan, execute, and optimize large system-level tests and data acquisition.

Responsibilities include designing and assembling mechanical and fluid systems, integrating DAQ hardware, and analyzing data to improve test results. The role requires physical dexterity and ability to work in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical or related engineering field.
• 1+ years of testing, mechanical or data acquisition, and control system design.

Responsibilities

• Work with vehicle engineers to develop and execute static and dynamic tests from conception.
• Design, modify, and build mechanical systems from small lugs to weldments.
• Design, modify, troubleshoot fluid systems including cryogenic propellants.
• Design, modify, troubleshoot DAQ and control systems, wiring, and instrumentation.
• Develop and maintain test procedures, sequences, scripts, and software.
• Operate the test stand from assembly through test execution with a small team.
• Provide daily direction to technicians to integrate test articles and hardware.
• Review data manually or with scripts.
