SpaceX in Texas is seeking a Structures Design Engineer for the Starship program. You will design metallic structures, propulsion fluid systems, and integration interfaces, working on end-to-end hardware development with a hands-on, production-focused team.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 1+ years of mechanical design experience, with proficiency in 3D CAD (NX, SolidWorks). Experience with GD&T, sheet metal, welded structures, and large assembly management is highly valued.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of mechanical design and drafting experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD software (NX, SolidWorks, etc).
• Strong GD&T and tolerance stack-up knowledge.
• Familiarity with sheet metal design, welded structures, and fluid systems.

Responsabilidades

• Design metallic structures and propulsion fluid systems under accelerated timelines.
• Review specifications and other engineering data to develop mechanical systems.
• Update designs and drawings through engineering change orders to support SpaceX's rapid pace of design iteration.
• Create detailed component and assembly drawings incorporating an understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack-ups.
