Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Structural Test Engineer for the Starship program. You will design, build and operate test stands and run large-scale static and dynamic structural tests on Starship components, working with vehicle engineers across disciplines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and hands-on experience with test systems, data acquisition and hazardous environments. On-site work at SpaceX facilities across multiple sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical or other engineering field.
• 1+ years of testing, mechanical or data acquisition, and control system design experience (internships counted).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute static and dynamic structural tests for Starship systems.
• Design, modify and build mechanical and hydraulic test components.
• Configure and troubleshoot fluid systems and high/low pressure lines.
• Develop and maintain test procedures, sequences and software.
• Operate test stands and guide technicians during test campaigns.
• Review data manually or with scripts.
