Job summary

SpaceX in the United States is seeking a Sr. Scheduler for Starship to lead production scheduling across multiple work centers, forecast part shortages, and manage constraints across 12+ missions.

You will own rate-based master schedules, model scenarios for optimal hardware allocation, and partner with production, engineering, and supply chain to hit aggressive rate objectives. Real-time dashboards and automated tools will support decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of manufacturing scheduling, planning, or operations experience; OR 8+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Advanced ERP/MRP experience (SAP, Oracle) in high-volume production.
• Strong problem-solving with bias for speed, accuracy, and scalable solutions.
• Experience building and leading supplier/customer relationships in matrixed orgs.
• Proficiency in coding/scripting (SQL, VBA, Python) and MS Office Suite (Power BI, Smartsheet).

Responsibilities

• Lead scheduling for production work centers and multiple missions; forecast part shortages and manage constraints.
• Develop and maintain rate-based master schedules for hardware lines.
• Model scenarios for optimal hardware allocation and present to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and supply chain to hit daily/weekly goals.
• Build dashboards and automate scheduling tools to improve efficiency and visibility.
• Mentor junior schedulers and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
