Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA, seeks a Production Scheduler for the Starship Mechanisms team to drive detailed production scheduling across its work centers. You will build rate-based schedules, identify part shortages, and coordinate with internal suppliers to meet mission goals.

The role requires a degree or equivalent experience, ERP/MRP proficiency, and a track record of cross-functional collaboration; familiarity with SQL, Power BI, and Lean methods is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems in a production environment.
• Proficiency with SQL and data tools (Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Assist in production scheduling for a given work center and project long-term rate needs.
• Create rate-based schedules and track constraints across builds for multiple missions.
• Coordinate with production teams to set daily/weekly goals and optimize hardware allocation.
• Negotiate with internal suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Monitor MRP systems to identify shortages and drive fulfillment into production.
