Job summary

SpaceX in Brownsville, Texas seeks a Production Scheduler for its Starship program. You will develop rate-based schedules, identify part shortages, project department needs, and track constraints across builds while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet rate targets.

Responsibilities include creating and maintaining schedules for hardware, coordinating with suppliers, and driving scheduling improvements using ERP/MRP systems, SQL queries, and data-driven decision making to reduce risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of manufacturing scheduling, planning or operations; OR 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production scheduling for a given work center and project long-term rate needs.
• Create a rate-based schedule for hardware and track constraints across builds.
• Collaborate with teams to allocate hardware between new/refurbished units to meet customer needs and manifest.
• Set, track, and execute daily/weekly goals considering personnel and equipment constraints.
• Build relationships with internal suppliers and communicate estimated needs and dates.
• Monitor MRP systems and use SQL queries to identify shortages for upcoming builds.
