Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field.
• 1+ years of manufacturing scheduling or 3+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems in a production environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production scheduling for a given work center and identify part shortages.
• Create a rate-based schedule and track constraints across builds for 6+ missions.
• Coordinate with production teams to meet goals considering personnel and equipment limits.
• Negotiate priorities with peers to optimize overall output and customer requirements.
• Monitor MRP systems and use SQL to identify hardware shortages and pull materials.
• Identify opportunities to automate scheduling and reduce manual steps.
• Lead capacity analysis to reduce schedule risk and address gaps.
• Support root-cause resolution on issues found during builds to remove blockers.
• Identify opportunities for yield, quality, safety, and cost improvements.
