Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Production Operations Engineer (Starship) to lead functional checkouts and hazardous testing of Starship/Super Heavy vehicles. You will define test criteria, develop first-article procedures, perform pressurized and sensor checkouts, and drive real-time troubleshooting to improve vehicle readiness.

Responsibilities include coordinating with engineering and technicians, improving testing efficiency, and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of project and/or professional experience with fluid systems.
• Advanced degree in mechanical engineering (preferred).
• Experience reading, and interpreting electrical and fluid schematics.
• Systems engineering experience for multi-disciplinary integrated systems.

Responsibilities

• Directly support functional checkouts of Starship/Superheavy vehicles.
• Establish test criteria and pass/fail requirements for integrated vehicle checkouts.
• Lead hazardous testing operations and validate propellant and electrical systems.
• Develop procedures for first-article validation and troubleshooting in real time.
• Interface with engineering and technicians to improve testing efficiency and safety.
