Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 1+ years of experience executing work instructions, test procedures, or controlled operations.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (preferred).
• 2+ years of hands-on aerospace/manufacturing experience in relevant roles.
• Experience as console operator or vehicle controller in aerospace environments.
• Experience with pressurized systems, gases, and cryogenic operations.
• Ability to read telemetry, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Strong communication and data analysis skills (Excel/VBA/SQL).
• ITAR and safety requirements compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Vehicle Controller on console for Starship production checkouts at Starbase locations.
• Execute test plans and work orders: leak checks, propellant-system tests, avionics mapping.
• Run checkout sequences on flight hardware and halt if safety requires.
• Maintain radio discipline and enforce PPE and barriers.
• Cover production checkout stations as needed.
• Monitor telemetry, disposition alarms, and escalate off-nominal behavior.
• Drive test-requirement closeout from executed operations; avoid unsigned results.
• Comply with operating limits and production procedures.
