Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is hiring a Sr. Operations Engineer for Starship Production at Starbase, TX. You will lead strategic planning and optimization of production processes, align resources to tasks, and drive initiatives to boost throughput while reducing build hours and defects.

You will act as a subject matter expert across Starship production processes, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and reporting progress to program leadership. Onsite role with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, aerospace, industrial or related).
• 5+ years in production engineering, manufacturing, or industrial project management.
• Experience in high-volume production environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement capital upgrades to meet production demand.
• Increase throughput and reduce build hours and waste.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve output, quality, safety, and cost.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Test, Materials, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Present findings and opportunities to program leadership.
