Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Integration Technician (Starshield) to assemble, integrate, and test Starshield hardware and satellites. The role blends mechanical assembly with avionics integration, requiring hands-on work with precision tools and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities include stage/setup, testing, collaboration with engineers, and ensuring on-time, safe production. A&P certification and extensive experience in hardware installation are valued in this high-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 7+ years in structures, avionics, propulsion, or automotive hardware installation.
• 5+ years in electrical or mechanical test environment or installations.
• A&P certification (preferred).
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Stage, set up, assemble, test and install flight hardware.
• Use mechanical tools and precision torque wrenches.
• Work with engineers to document activities.
• Ensure quality and conformance to specs.
• Support troubleshooting of hardware issues in real time.
