Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Integration Technician (Starshield) to assemble, integrate, and test flight hardware for Starshield missions. You will perform mechanical assembly, avionics wiring, and live testing, collaborating with engineers to refine processes.

This role demands hands-on work on complex assemblies, adherence to procedures, and proactive troubleshooting in a fast-paced aerospace environment. On-site shifts and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with structures, avionics, propulsion, or automotive hardware installation.
• 5+ years of experience working in an electrical or mechanical test environment or performing electrical or mechanical installations.
• A&P certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stage, set up, assemble, test and install flight hardware.
• Use various mechanical tools without instruction.
• Use precision calibrated tools including torque wrenches.
• Perform hands-on operations with large and small mechanical assemblies.
• Follow procedures, specifications, and test instructions.
• Collaborate with production engineers to document activities.
• Ensure product quality and conformance to specifications.
• Ensure all production services are performed on time, safely and professionally.
• Support troubleshooting of hardware issues in real-time and provide feedback to eliminate repeat issues.
