Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Integration Technician for Starshield in Hawthorne, CA. This role covers hardware assembly, integration, and testing of Starshield assemblies and satellites, requiring both mechanical assembly and avionics integration skills.

Responsibilities include staging, setup, testing, and installation of flight hardware; using precision tools; collaborating with production engineers; and ensuring quality and on-time performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 7+ years of experience with structures, avionics, propulsion, or automotive hardware installation.
• 5+ years in electrical or mechanical test environments or installations.
• 10+ years in relevant hardware installation (preferred).
• Trade school certificate or degree preferred.
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings, manuals, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Stage, set up, assemble, test and install flight hardware.
• Use various mechanical tools without instruction.
• Use precision torque wrenches and calibrated tools.
• Collaborate with engineers to document activities.
• Ensure product quality and conformance to specifications.
• Support troubleshooting of hardware issues.
