Job summary

2020 Companies, in partnership with Starlink, is hiring part-time Retail Sales & Activation Specialists in Sandy, UT. You will help shoppers explore Starlink residential and mobile internet options, share product knowledge, and ensure an interactive shopping experience.

Schedule 16-20 hours weekly, typically Friday to Sunday, with dates July 27, 2026 through November 1, 2026. Earn base pay $20/hour plus up to $2/hour performance bonus, with total earning potential up to $22/hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months in sales, electronics, retail, telecom, or marketing preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to engage customers in the sales process.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and demonstrate Starlink services to meet their needs.
• Build trust by understanding customer requirements and recommending the right Starlink solutions.
• Represent 2020 Companies and Starlink professionally in a retail setting.
• Hit or exceed sales targets and contribute to team success.
• Collaborate with store staff to maintain a positive and productive environment.
• Submit daily reports on customer interactions and sales via mobile device.

Overview:

2020 Companies, in partnership with our client, Starlink, are now hiring part-time Retail Sales & Activation Specialists!

Pay: $20/hr. base pay

Bonus: Up to $2/hr. performance bonus

Total: Up to $22/hr. earning potential

In this exciting role, you’ll work closely with retail shoppers to recommend the perfect Starlink residential and mobile internet products to meet their unique needs. You’ll be the subject matter expert for customers seeking information on Starlink’s services, ensuring they have an interactive and informative shopping experience. Building relationships within a retail environment and having a technology-first mindset are key as you explain the benefits of Starlink satellite internet. Our team fully provides all technology training.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• A minimum of six months of experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecom, or marketing is preferred
• The ability to engage, demonstrate, and engage customers in the sales process is necessary
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential
• Impeccable integrity and a genuine commitment to exceeding customer expectations are crucial
• Thrive in a fast-paced team environment
• Availability to work weekends
• Own a smartphone with the current Apple iOS software or current Android software
• Reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled visits
