Job summary

2020 Companies, in partnership with Starlink, is hiring part-time Retail Sales & Activation Specialists at Best Buy in Corpus Christi, TX. Pay starts at $18/hr base with a bonus up to $4/hr, for a total earning potential up to $22/hr.

Schedule ranges 16-20 hours per week, with Friday to Sunday availability required, from 7/27/26 to 11/01/26. You will advise customers, explain Starlink products, and deliver a tech-forward shopping experience, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecom, or marketing is preferred.
• Ability to engage, demonstrate, and engage customers in the sales process is necessary.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to exceeding customer expectations are crucial.
• Thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
• Availability to work weekends.
• Own a smartphone with current iOS/Android software.
• Reliable transportation to scheduled visits.

In this exciting role, you'll work closely with retail shoppers to recommend the perfect Starlink residential and mobile internet products to meet their unique needs. You'll be the subject matter expert for customers seeking information on Starlink’s services, ensuring they have an interactive and informative shopping experience. Building relationships within a retail environment and having a technology-first mindset are key as you explain the benefits of Starlink satellite internet. Our team fully provides all technology training.
