Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Starlink Operations Technician for night shift to support the Starlink production lines, troubleshoot issues, and perform maintenance on automated equipment. You will assist with line start-up/shut down, implement process improvements, and ensure strict quality and safety standards.

The role requires adaptability to a fast-paced environment, the ability to read electrical schematics, and experience with high-volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 6+ months of experience in electronics, automotive, or other high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the Starlink Dish Production lines related to product and process troubleshooting, equipment repair, and maintenance.
• Perform initial triage of non-conforming product, and drive resolution and preventative actions.
• Operate complex automated equipment, and support line start-up and shut down activities.
• Execute off-nominal and development builds on the production line with minimal guidance and assistance.
• Support development of technical processes and standard operating procedures.
• Execute continuous improvement tasks driven by the manufacturing engineering team.
• Ensure product quality and conformance to specifications.
• Support the development of Process Failure Modes Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify critical risks by escalating process improvement ideas to your supervisor and/or specialist for further process improvements.
• Perform tasks specific to at least 1 of 3 specialties within the factory: SMT (surface mount technology), test, and mechanical
