SpaceX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist (Starlink) for the 2nd shift to help establish new manufacturing and test processes for high-volume user terminals.

The role focuses on improving throughput, quality, and cost while maintaining design integrity. Candidates should have hands-on manufacturing experience and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with aggressive timelines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency with 2+ years in a hands-on manufacturing environment, or a bachelor’s degree in engineering, math or science.
  • Experience delivering high-quality hardware in a fast-paced NPI environment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute new product introduction builds across all work centers.
  • Program, load, and operate automated equipment.
  • Triage non-conforming products and drive resolution and preventative actions.
  • Resolve production issues while ensuring design integrity, product quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Perform process development and validation on new models under tight timelines.
  • Ensure successful transition of products from development to volume production.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities for yield, performance, and cost.
  • Define maintenance schedules and support activities.
