Southern Star is hiring a Starlink Technician to install and service high‑speed satellite internet, helping customers get online and understand the new service.

This role offers a clear career ladder to Senior and Master Tech, with pay progression tied to training and performance, plus commissions and bonuses as you advance.

Formación

• Technical knowledge required for installation and servicing of Starlink equipment.
• Willing to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Sales oriented; offer customers additional products during installs.
• Clear background check, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.

Responsabilidades

• Install and service Starlink equipment at customers' homes.
• Guide customers on using the service and getting online.

Training/Base pay rate of $17.00 per hour. The Base rate increases .50 upon completion of 60 days of employment.

We have a Guaranteed Hourly Rate of $20.00 per hour upon completion of training through your first 9 months. This allows time to build your bonus and commission skills.

If your post-training base rate, plus bonuses and commission don’t bring you to the Guaranteed Hourly Rate, we will increase your pay. However, the earning potential is much higher!

As a Southern Star Starlink Technician, you'll install and service Starlink, the high-speed satellite internet connecting homes across rural and underserved communities. You'll do more than install equipment. You'll be a technology ambassador who gets customers online and shows them how to make the most of their new service.

Requirements

• Technical Skills:Strong technical knowledge and the ability to climb ladders up to 38 ft and work in crawl spaces.
• Travel:Willing to travel up to 20% of the time. Lodging and per diem are covered by SSI.
• Communication:Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Sales:Offer customers additional products and services during installs.
• Clear background check, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Record.
