Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Business Analyst (Starlink Growth Demand Planning) in Hawthorne, CA to own weekly and quarterly demand forecasts, budgets, and financial reporting for Starlink growth.

You will drive cross-functional roadmaps with Product Engineering, Software Engineering, Global Operations, Supply Chain, and S&OP teams, analyze growth experiments, and shape strategic programs to maximize customer acquisition and optimize forecasting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1+ years of experience in management consulting, growth strategy, go-to-market planning, investment banking, or business operations.
• 1+ years of experience using Excel for financial modeling.
• 3+ years in related fields including growth strategy and operations.
• 1+ years in early and growth stage startups.
• Experience with SQL and/or Python.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Finance liaison for consumer growth, owning weekly / quarterly demand forecasts, long-term planning, budgeting, financial reporting, and related business cases.
• Drive cross-functional new product roadmaps and launch planning with Product Engineering, Software Engineering, Global Operations, Supply Chain, and S&OP teams.
• Continuously improve forecasting, reporting, and planning processes to support faster, better-informed decisions.
• Analyze financial impact of growth experiments and forecast opportunities to drive prioritization of business and engineering initiatives.
• Assess consumer insights and analytics to identify winning & losing demand generation approaches.
• Lead the development and execution of strategic growth programs (e.g., campaigns, new channels) to maximize customer acquisition.
