Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Facilities Supervisor for the Starlink Production Facility in Bastrop, TX. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, manage maintenance, and drive safety and efficiency across our critical infrastructure.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong collaboration with third-party providers, and a focus on continuous improvement to support mission-critical operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years in construction or facilities maintenance
• 1+ years of leadership experience
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering
• 6+ years in construction or facilities maintenance
• 2+ years leadership experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience managing budgets
• Experience managing third-party vendors
• Experience negotiating contracts and comparing service costs to maximize value
• Experience with asset management software
• Knowledge of building management and automated facilities monitoring systems and processes (HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression, generators)
• High attention to detail and cleanliness standards
• Ability to work independently with little direction
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to anticipate needs and develop innovative solutions for continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Lead the facilities operations team (janitorial, landscaping, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance) to ensure no unplanned interruptions
• Improve area safety and efficiency through regular audits and continuous improvement
• Manage third-party service providers to meet contract terms
• Plan and execute site improvement projects aligned with business objectives
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and installation of facilities infrastructure and grounds
• Direct facilities team, HVAC and electrical technicians, coaching and development
• Prioritize tasks and projects to improve department efficiency and remove blockers
