Job Description

• Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
• Experience Desired: Prior fresh food experience; restaurant or related field experience; familiarity with Bailer, compactor (age-appropriate)
• Education Desired: No high school diploma required
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
• Age Requirement: At least 16 years of age

Job Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety for team members, guests, and products.
• Handle products and equipment following food safety and safety guidelines.
• Provide exceptional guest service to delight and surprise guests, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Set up and maintain gourmet display cases with fresh items from the central kitchen.
• Use food knowledge to assist customers in making gourmet choices.
• Operate cash register (if applicable).
• Set up and maintain salad bar, hot bar, or other gourmet areas.
• Share food knowledge and cultivate a foodie culture among team members and guests.
• Use suggestive selling techniques effectively.
