Job Overview

As a Barista, you will prepare espresso drinks, smoothies, and coolers based on customer requests and standards. You will perform cashier duties, maintain your work station, and stock supplies as needed. Your goal is to create a memorable experience for each guest by providing fast, friendly, and courteous service, adhering to Starbucks standards through product knowledge.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Availability to work Sunday through Saturday, with rotating shifts between 5:30 am and 8:30 pm.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills and ability to use Point of Service systems.
• Previous cashier experience preferred.
• Must have Act 34 clearance.

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate guests, prepare drinks quickly, and operate espresso machines and video screens.
• Maintain cleanliness according to store standards and follow cash handling policies.
• Contribute to store profitability by increasing sales and improving profits.
• Create the Starbucks experience, offer samples, and suggest products to meet customer needs.
• Accurately count and perform basic math functions.
• Respond to customer needs and thank each guest, demonstrating the 'Just Say Yes' behavior.
