Job description

Purpose:

Prepares espresso drinks, smoothies, and coolers based on customer requests and according to standards. Performs cashiering duties, maintains work station, and stocks supplies as needed. Creates a memorable experience for each guest by providing fast, friendly, and courteous service. Follows Starbucks standards by delivering outstanding customer service through product knowledge.

Responsibilities:

1. Welcome questions and educate guests. Make espresso drinks, smoothies, and coolers that are delivered to the guest in less than three (3) minutes. Operate espresso machine and video screen. Identify each drink and delivery.
2. Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with store standards. Follow cash handling procedures and policies. Contribute to store profitability by increasing sales and improving profits. Learn and demonstrate creating the Starbucks experience. Offer customer demonstrations and samples using brewing equipment. Discover customer needs and suggest products appropriately to enhance service and meet sales goals.
3. Prepare and produce all drinks to Starbucks standards. Batch similar drinks together. Keep guest areas clean. Respond to customer needs and thank each customer. Demonstrate the "Just Say Yes" behavior by taking care of customer needs. Follow store policies and procedures.
