Minimum Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous comparable experience preferred.
  • Create a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and appreciated by answering questions and making suggestions about products.
  • Maintain knowledge of products sold within the department and across the store.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals.
  • Prepare beverages according to recipes and standards, and handle transactions properly.
  • Offer product samples and inform customers about specials.
  • Provide fresh, correctly portioned products to prevent shrinkage.
  • Recommend items to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Use equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens, espresso machines, blenders, and scales safely and properly.
  • Label, stock, and inventory merchandise accurately.
  • Report discrepancies and safety issues to management.
  • Stay informed about current promotions and adhere to safety and food safety regulations.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and report equipment issues.
  • Report accidents, safety risks, or illegal activities to management.
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
