Job description

Gopuff is seeking a Barista for our Starbucks Operations team. As a Starbucks barista, you’ll create the Starbucks Experience for our customers through excellent service and expertly-crafted products. You’ll work in an energetic store environment, mastering your food & beverage craft. This unique delivery-only Starbucks cafe will focus on speed and quality to provide the best experience to each customer.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver an exceptional customer experience by creating quality handcrafted beverages and food during all hours of operation.
2. Uphold Gopuff standards, all Starbucks brand standards, and food safety standards.
3. Execute cafe processes, including food deliveries, replenishment, and cleaning.
4. Maintain awareness of promotional activities within Starbucks.
5. Follow routines to deliver a consistent Starbucks experience while driving efficiency and maintaining food safety.
6. Produce items to specifications and follow department routines.
7. Monitor and record temperature-sensitive food items.
8. Complete and record cleaning tasks as outlined.
9. Follow packaging and labeling guidelines for food products.
10. Adhere to food safety requirements.
11. Complete all Starbucks trainings.
12. Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
13. Work safely, identify hazards, and comply with safety policies.
14. Perform other duties as needed based on business requirements.

Qualifications:

1. Availability may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
2. Previous Starbucks/food service experience is preferred but not required.
3. Welcoming and helpful attitude toward new team members.
4. Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Focus on quality and pride in work.
7. Attention to detail and following multi-step processes.
