Position Summary
University Advising Center, STARs (Student Trained in Advising & Registration) will assist their supervisor in supporting students with questions related to advising and registration resources, events and deadlines. In addition, STARs will aid in preparation and/or notation of advising appointments, and other office duties. This position will report to the Administrative Assistant and Director of the University Advising Center. This is a student position open to current UIW students who may be hired through the Federal Work-Study Program or student employment.

Required Education
Current UIW student with a 2.5 GPA (or higher)
Required Work Experience
No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledgeable in Canva and social media platforms
Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations
None.
Work Hours
Variable hours: Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; 10-20 hours per week.
Physical Demands
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs to move file boxes.
