Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year related experience in the maritime industry.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License with an MVR meeting business driving standards.
• May require TWIC/MMC, certifications or renewals as directed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vessels and equipment before voyage for safe operation and compliance.
• Deploy containment boom and spill response gear as needed.
• Maintain logs and inspections, keeping records current.
• Direct deckhands and passengers to ensure safety during hazards.
• Conduct onboard safety drills and safety training for crew.
• Complete procedures and paperwork as required by regulations.
