Generator Systems LLC in Ohio seeks an experienced Project Manager to own the planning, coordination, and execution of standby power projects from sale through commissioning. You'll be the central point of contact for customers, field technicians, vendors, and internal teams — ensuring each installation is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standard.

This role thrives on keeping complex, multi-stakeholder projects organized and moving.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical construction, generator/standby power systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specs.
• Proficiency with NetSuite or similar ERP/project management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of generator and transfer switch projects, from sale handoff through installation, startup, and closeout.
• Build and maintain project schedules within NetSuite, budgets, and scopes of work, proactively spotting and resolving risks or delays.
• Coordinate with service department, subcontractors and vendors to keep field work properly staffed and sequenced.
• Serve as the go-to contact for customers, providing regular updates and ensuring a great experience start to finish.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and permit requirements to confirm scope and compliance.
• Manage change orders, invoicing milestones, and closeout documentation.
• Support the sales team with technical input, scoping, and proposal development as needed.
